Straight from Elon Musk’s twitter feed comes hints of additional performance for the Tesla Model S P100D Ludicrous, their flagship model from the S line-up. This could refer to either increased range or more acceleration, not that the car is lacking in that department with an insanely fast 2.5 second 0-100km/h time while a full charge will net over 500km in range.

Also announced for the Model S is the new Glass Roof option which looks visually incredible running the full length of the roof-line from front to back. Designed and engineered to resist forces in the event of a roll over, Tesla spent a lot of time developing the glass used for this option.
